It won’t be long now, and there will be some more fun- O—yez!
Our first event was fabulous tour of gorgeous guitar, documentation that camels did once roam Roslyn (take a good look at the Roslyn Cafe mural), and poetry with bite.
Rest up, because on Sunday, January 18th, we’ve got another great line-up. (We’re going for a Sunday night because for many, it’s a three-day weekend.) more “Resolved: Oyez Roslyn! Jan 18, 2015”
We’re off and running– this season will start
Saturday, November 15th, at the Roslyn Cafe.
The show begins promptly at 8:00 PM.
We often get a full house, so you might want to come a bit early,
order something tasty, and settle in for a night of delight.
Oyez Roslyn! and the Roslyn Library are co-sponsoring a poetry workshop with ELIZABETH AUSTEN, Washington State’s Poet Laureate.
Saturday, November 15th, 1-4 PM, at the Roslyn Library.
You’ve got a first draft. Now what?
During this three hour workshop we’ll grapple with the revision process, including craft elements such as line and image.
Bring your questions and one copy of a poem in progress.
Free and open to all practicing poets.
